Rama 9 was planned as Bangkok’s second business district, and it now behaves like one: corporate headquarters, Central Rama 9 and Fortune Town, the Thailand Cultural Centre and new office towers along Ratchadaphisek, where the Chinese Embassy also stands. Prices are a step below Sukhumvit for similar buildings, with the MRT a few stops from Asok, which is why investors watch it closely.
